A day's trip on the Masai Mara is described from an early morning sight of a Cheetah hunting for her cub to a mid-day stretch with lions, and a view of vultures settling in for the night. The day started with a rat-a-tat-tat and screech from a monkey in search for food and concluded in a similar manner with a bush baby grunting over my head in the hope of donation to its dinner.
Each of the animals I saw were impressive, but the majesty of the lions resplendent in their self confidence reigned supreme.
