Banksy in Gaza

Film Fantasy Identity Creative Project 2011-12

He created nine spray paintings on the controversial barrier which separates Israel from Palestine.
Banksy is self dubbed Bristol’s ‘Art Terrorist’. He takes street art to a new level due to his strong political views. This stunt was even more notorious, due to being in the dangerous Middle East. Israel claims that the wall protects them from suicide attacks but Banksy says it turns Palestine into ‘the world’s largest open prison’. Ironically, he also calls the 700km of concrete, Gaza Strip ‘the ultimate graffiti artists’ holiday destination’.
