Ozlem Avci worked as a teacher for Turkish Ministry of Education for 10 years and as a lecturer in the School of Foreign Languages at Karadeniz Technical University for 2 years. She has been working as a translator for 6 years. She is a sworn translator in Turkey, and also a member of CIoL and ATA. She has a degree in Sociology, a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, and currently an MPhil/PhD student in Critical and Creative Writing at the University of Greenwich. She loves writing poems and screenplays. Swimming and travelling are favourite activities
